This is one of the main reasons to change over to 12V in the first place. Look at it this way. You are asking if you could run your 220V house AC on a 110V plug. It just does not work. Now if you had a 6V winch and a 12V tractor we could make that work with resistors. So do you want the winch; or do you want 6V's??????
