You could look for a medium sized loader tractor and then depending on what you're planning to cultivate and what you mean by "cultivate", look for a small or medium cultivation tractor. A Farmall Super C with a cultivator would be just the ticket if you're talking row crop cultivation, like corn. The problems with older loader tractors will be such things as trip buckets, no hydraulic down force, maybe non-live hydraulics, (they really need a front mounted pump), etc. By having two tractors you'll be able to pull yourself out when you get stuck in those some-time wet conditions. Notice I said "when", not "if".
