A computer is based on an on-off swutch. Well, actually a whole mind-boggling many many many on-off switches. Lots! We use our fingers to count on, so we count to 10 a lot, and kinda built up all kinds of math on that. They figured out the revolution of planets & stars & all, just by starting with counting to 10 & going from there. A computer can only count to 2. the little switch is either off, or on. Only 2 fingers. But it is really, really fast at counting.... So, everything comes down to counting up to 2. All the info swimming around, all the math - it's based on such a simple thing. An on or off light switch. Same thing a magneto uses - electricity. And a way to switch it on & off. --->Paul
