I drain out the gas and put some kerosene in both my tanks.For extended periods I have found that the all fuel switching valve will still let some gas mix with the other tank when off causing it to gum.I have also tried completly draining both but that still leaves a trace of gas which has gummed up and stuck my needle valves open.
