The officials nailed an atlas to the wall in the airport opened to the Canadian and US east coast. Complete with a large coloured arrow and the caption saying "you are here".
Apparently almost every US person had no idea where Newfoundland or Nova Scotia is let alone St.John or Halifax. Most thought they had been diverted back to Europe somewhere. Or they wondered where those remote American states were.
I wish the schools would teach world geography.
