I think part of your misunderstanding of the ACLU comes from the fact that you feel it is your beliefs being attacked by them. When ACLU is saying no school prayer, for example, they are defending separation of church and state along with the rights of athiests who might not believe as you or I. Frankly, I have no problem with prayer in or out of school. I was always taught that prayer should be done in private--this is how it is written in the Bible. As for ACLU sticking up for NAMBLA, don't get me wrong; I think that group is sick. ACLU also stuck up for the KKK's right to march and hold demonstrations. Again, I don't agree with the message of NAMBLA or the KKK, but I do support their right to free speech, just at I support the right of evangelicals like Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell to spew some of their bigoted and irrational rants against gays even when I might not agree with their message. ACLJ on the otherhand, seems to want to tromp on anyone who isn't a Christian, be they athiest, Hindu, Muslim, etc. The ACLJ's agenda is to promote Christianity at the expense of those who don't share their beliefs. That's not a very American point of view since this country is a melting pot of many different religions and viewpoints. I have Jewish friends who find all of the Christmas stuff offensive, but because they are a minority, they have to endure the tyranny of the Majority. If you spent one day in the shoes of the minority in this country, perhaps you might change your tune.

I have been restoring old Farm Tractors for the past 6 years, and have found it easier and less expensive to hit all the auctions and purchase whole tractors for parts needed. My wife who works at a local school, and only has weekends and summers off, while on t
