For being an old one, gas works fine for me, I have heard of people having problems with the older British diesels starting in cold weather glow plugs etc. I have never had to plug my in in the winter time and it starts everytime. I live in the northern part of Minnesota, so being able to start up right away is nice. I do keep it inside so that helps. I do have a new diesel now, and yes I do like the diesel better, for a new tractor. Just my 2 cents.
