I had a day to kill in Assinaboia (sp) Saskatchewan a few years ago- I figured the local insurance agent would know as much about the lay of the land as anyone, so asked him if he knew of any old tractor collectors that might tolerate a drop in visitor. He sent me to two- one had about 4 quonset buildings full of every kind of old tractor imaginable (his dad had started rounding them up in the 40's), and another old boy who had about 25 or 30 IH WD-40's. He still farmed with some of them, but most were in sheds, some intact, some parts. That's all he collected- gave me such a good sales pitch that I offered to buy one, but he wasn't selling. He also had every car he ever owned, lined up on a hillside. Some getting old enough to be interesting. He was a very "colorful" fellow.
