My neighbor has two IH trucks. Both around 1960 vintage, and both B110s. He has Detroit Diesel 3-53s in both of them. I don't know why he chose those engines, and don't know how much beefing up the front suspension was needed. Seems those engines are awful heavy for the power (and noise) produced. He's been driving them for years. Comes down the road doing 25 MPH and sounding like he's going 60.
