Yep,an engine running on dry gas like propane vapor will last almost forever. Propane vapor burns very clean,and with no liquid fuel going into the engine,you get no cylinder wall washing like a gasoline or diesel will do on a cold start. I repowered two 1950T Olivers with propane burning 454 Chevy engines around 25 years ago.Last year after over 6000 hours I had to remove a head on one of these engines to replace a head gasket. The cylinders still had hone marks to the top of the bore,so wear is near 0
