My preference would be to make sure it is strong enough and leave it in. However I know the older manuals give instructions on draining and getting one ready to store for winter. I know a guy who at least a coupla years ago was still draining his old Ford every year and storing it for winter. I prefer to have mine ready and start them every once in a while and find something to do with them.
