Hi HRN, I have a 02 PSD, 6spd, 3:73 and I "don't" use the turbo to pull my loads as I pull my maximum torque rpm or 1600rpm. Well I may use a small amount of turbo boost but not very much. At 2000rpm you can hear and feel the turbo. I do 28k GVW each week without any problems. I pull 16k GCW thru the Colorado Rockies and very seldom have to go below 5th gear but at 42mph. Using this method I average 14mpg with the 16k GCW thru the Colorado Rockies, and 16.5mpg here in the AZ mountains. I pull for best fuel mileage, not time. T_Bone
