Howdy, For me personally, it has to be painting. I love to do the bodywork on these old tractors and love to see the mechanics come together but man, when I start shooting the paint to that old dull gray machine and see the newness come rushing back to it I just get really excited. I stop periodically to look at it and come back to the shop to look again. Heck, I even look through the windows when I'm not planning on goin into the shop. It is just neat to see the change. I'm workin on a JD M that was a barn resident that took too many shots to the head from old tier poles. Bodywork nightmare but she's not anymore. If I can just get a set of rear rims for her she'll be all set but that still hasn't happened. Unfortunately I'm happier to spend the owner's money on a new set than he is so we'll just have to wait for that first test drive. God bless. --old fashioned farmer
