I had a '93 F250 with the indirect turbo 7.3 and it worked good. Put 285k on it with a starter and a set of glow plugs. I still see it going quite often, must have a pile of miles on it now. I towed tractors, travel trailers and horses with it with no trouble. I never noticed a whole lot of difference between it and my 89 non turbo 7.3 performance wise. You won't break any speed records but you should be good to the 15k range.
