Adam.....just getting that thing into a decent working tractor will cost you 100's at minimum. This could turn into a couple of thousand easily. Since a decent running C can be bought for 1000 all day long, the seller is a dreamer. Don't you be. We all take pitty on old iron and want to be a savior, but as Clint used to say "A man's got to know his limitations". Turning an 800 dollar junk C into a 1000 dollar running C for the difference can't be done. Offer him 100 bucks, and walk away if he doesn't jump.
