I never thought there would be so many vets on this website. Everywhere you look you can find a vet. My two grandfathers served during WWII and my father was in germany for three years. One grandfather was 85% disabled when he was discharged and the other was on the USS Lexington CV16 when it was sank near new guinea. I never met the former grandfather, he passed away a year before I was born, the other one is the reason I am who I am today. He passed away six years ago when I was 14, he was my role model. Its always sad to hear the horror stories that they went through and we will never understand. The ones that lost theirs lives must be remembered. In your prayers tonight just add a little blessing to them and their families that suffered the biggest loss for our freedom. Thank you to all our vets and those who replied. Caleb in TX
