hay raking/rowing up

Hi guys How do you rake a field ready for baling, after it has been spread out by the tedder? What i mean is what sort of shape is it good to drive. The field is almost square except there are three houses poking out into it from the edge. A contractor is baling it so i want to get it right first time, and not have it taking him longer because of my bad raking! (i know, wrong time of year, im just being prepared!)
