S series starting serial nr for 1953 is 5700001 and 1954 is 8035001. As I understand it Case changed serial nr configuration on some letter series tractors sometime during model year 1953. That would make yours 1953 Racine built. Joe

Memories of an IH Super A When I was ? up to 10, I worked on my Papaw's farm in Greeneville, TN every summer. As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor.
