I love John Deere tractors, and a 3010 such as you discribed would be wonderful, but before I'd consider spending $10,500 on a 3010, I'd have to hear that the 3010 had a serial number beginning with 14T or 15T before I'd consider buying it. The code 14T is for a rowcrop-utility and 15T is for Industrial. The other codes are 11T (row crop) 12T (standard) and 16T (SPECIAL row crop utility (export only)). 16T would be nearly impossible to locate and the other two versions are just too common to be worth $10,500 yet! I would buy TWO, 756 Farmalls or 656 Farmalls for that money before I'd look at a $10,500 3010. You could also, most likely get a console model 4020 in FAIR condition for that amount also! There are a LOT of serious people trying to get that kind of money for John Deere, but I don't often hear of anyone BUYING one at those prices except for a few, demented "collecters", and THEY are buying the "14, 15, and possibly 12 " versions NOT the rowcrops!
