That engine will outlast the truck. Keep the oil changed and use the coolant additive. The F250 had ind. front ends. They are known to need ball joints and bushings pretty often. Part of that depends on the roads you drive on (dirt/rough). As was said - the flywheels can give trouble. I think the price is pretty good depending on the rust.

I have a 2000 F350... love it. I added a 4 position chip (160hp/330ft torque) - it unreal. Tons of power. Would never want to go back to a gasser!
