I got in a fight with my propany comapany mainly because they kept letting us run out. So after the last fill up I sent them a registered letter forbidding them to enter my property and informed them I would notify them when the tanks were empty and they could come get them. I informed them that I would charge them with trespassing if they entered my property without my permission. There's more to the story, but in general, they screwed up too many times and I always paid my bills. I then found another supplier, bought one large tank - 1000 gallons for $1200 which I hated to do - but now, I own it. The guy filled it for $1.19 a gallon which is a good deal for this area in Central New York. The previous place was charging me $1.49 per gallon and refused to provide me with a large tank. This way, we got every bit of our gas from the old tanks before giving them up.
