john deer 240 bobcat

hey .. i need some help here .. i have a bobcat .. that keeps locking up on me .. the battery light comes on and she just locks up .. ive gone thru 2 new batteries in 3 months .tested the alternator and it registers fine. can anyone give me some advice on what to do or to look for ?
