Never really looked into it,but aftermarket companies manufacturer"high torque" starters for performance engines.Secondly,would more"battery" help?A lot of diesels and even cold climate large displacement gas engines use huge or dual batteries for extra cranking power.After all the common lead/acid battery loses like 40% of its power in cold temps,extra battery gives that back + a little more.
