Guys in Bloomfield are great to buy NEW stuff from (and parts), used is, as you found out, way pricey. For used equip, (dealer I was referring to), is Cocanougher Farm Equip in Salvisa. Been really happy working with him. My dad bought a 7710 series 2 2wd this summer from him. Low hours with a brand new loader (had to wait for it to come in) was $20K even. He's got a burned 7710 series 2 4wd that the 4wd looks good on, might find a good series 1 or 2 and put the 4wd on it. I'm thinking about buying it and would sure love to sell the 4wd to someone to cut my cost a little. I need the right rear axle and a bunch of PTO guts, plus it would give me a good engine to keep handy (got 6 tractors with that engine in them). As far as other folks I've had good luck with on used tractors, Green's in Leitchfield, Hobby Dye and Read in Scottsville, and Houston Smith down in Benton. I may run into something too. That cup of coffee sounds good. :-). Have a great day. David

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
