I've got a 92 Chevy 1 ton truck with the 4L80E automatic transmission in it,the truck has 139,00 miles on it and runs great but The trans has recently developed a problem, shifts fine thru all gears but once in overdrive it will start hunting like it don't know if it wants to stay in overdrive or 3rd gear, changed fluid and filter did'nt help, been told this trans is controled by a speed sensor, the distributor and a throttle position sensor. to just start replacing these one at a time would be very costly! So was wondering if anybody has had a like problem with there truck and could offer any info? Oh! I did check the codes and it's not showing anything. Sorry for the off topic post! But could really use my truck! and I thought what better place to ask a question about a truck than with a bunch of guys that all have trucks?
