Ain't God good !!!

Had a 49 JD B that was stuck till today . For about the last month I have gone through the ritual of spraying a variety of penetrating oils in the cylinders and tapping and jerking. I took the head off a few weeks ago and today I just happened to see a piece of old Locust post that fit perfect in the cylinder. I put it in and put a barn jack horizontally against it. Then I started to slowly tighten it up and low and behold it started to move. Now here is where it gets personal. Looking at that piece of Locust I realized that it was one that my grandpa had been splitting on the day that he died 22 years ago. I'm sure that my grandpa was saying under his breath while he was looking down "bailed you out again boy". There's no doubt about it GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME! I miss you gramp's.
