I'm a long ways from Ohio, but my suggestion would be to start going to local farm auctions. Every time I attend one, all you have to do is hang around some of the equipment that you have interest in, and you meet some of the nicest people. There's been more than once, I've struck up a acquaintance that has lasted over the years, with nothing more in common to start with than just a old hunk of farm machinery.
