Same way here Larry during harvest about 8 years ago they had a 8-10 boy go out and run a feed grinder, he got into pto shaft and got wrapped around it the only thing that saved him was size. No gaurds or any safty equipment anywere , but they always have the same excuse oh thats the lords will, and take no blame for leaving a child that young unsupervised. had that been a normal working farm osha would have been al over that like a cat buring crap, plus the labor enforcing child labor laws. The amish are nothing but wolves in sheeps clothing.
