My wife has had a business dealing with the public for 14 years. Pet grooming - about a 100 transactions per week. Most by check. In that whole time, she has had maybe 3 bad checks. One from a young couple (18?) and two from construction guys. One weird event - a cop from another city didn't pay - said he left his money in his other pants. After several phone calls and 2 weeks, no money. She called the police officers department. After talking to several police officers, ending up with the leautenant. The officer was there with cash in 1 hour! He needed a receipt too! The police department called back to make sure that the officer had taken care of the bill. He never came back. Not that we missed his business. Irv
