I have some cracks on my Ford from previous owners heavy backhoe work. Bought some rod from these guys: http://www.muggyweld.com/castiron.html I also looked into these guys:
http://www.breckocorp.com/ They both seem to have the same product and it is very pricy at $110 a pound. But it is supposed to raise the dead, heal the sick and weld cast without cracking! I don't have experience with it yet (taking a welding class to refresh my stick skills), but soon! The local shops want about $100 to $200 to weld a 8-10" crack, so this isn't such a bad deal if it works... jb
