I like AC tractors! But, if you can get a good Ford 3000 with brush hog for $3500, and you are going to have to pay $2000 for an AC WD45, the Ford is the way to go. An WD45 should a wide front and be in top notch condition to bring $2000. It could cost you up to $300 for a 3 point conversion. The WD45 has independent PTO and hydraulics through the hand clutch. If the Ford has independent PTO and hydraulics I think you ought to go with the Ford if it is in good shape. I wouldn"t recomend older Fords over an AC WD45, but I think in this case the Ford is probably the way to go.
