Well, I thought everyone knew the answer, but I guess not. OK here's what my grandpa told me. Back in I don't remember the year, Mr.Clagwell left work just before noon one day, {I think it was on a friday}when he reached home for dinner he found Hoyt with his wife. ya'll have to paint that picture. Mr Glagwell told Hoyt he was going to kill him and went to the bedside table for his pistol. What Glagwell didn't notice was that Hoyt was packin. {some of the old guys didn't ever unpack} when Glagwell turn to face Hoyt, Hoyt shot Glagwell between the eye. Grandpa said Glagwell only had one eye. The Sheriff locked up Hoyt and the Judge hung em. Glagwell's wife ran off with the plant manager on a whiskey boat and was never seen again. the bank sold off all company equipment, along with what Hoyt Glagwell's that were built, and closed the gates for the last time.
