Without even seeing it I can tell for sure that it is a pig bracket bolt for an Essex Tri-Directional (ETD) "Big Bruiser" model from 1919. Looks exactly like the pig bracket bolt on my Bruiser here in the shed. For those of you who don't know what the pig bracket was for, it was a steel bracket that held a real live pig right next to the operators platform. Those hogs give off a lot of heat for the operator on those cool autumn evenings out in the prairie fields. I don't bracket in a pig anymore on mine, I just use it to hold an aluminum beer keg securely in place.
