When someone has that kind of damage, they have a whole series of complications, much as diabetics do. So next time you hear someone pontificating about the ethics of stem-cell research and 'right to life,' think about the lives of people who fall off their horse, get clobbered by a drunk driver, acquire MS, or Lou Gehrig's, or who get hurt in the service of our country. Rest in peace, Chris. You've done your time in Hell.
