You can"t be too careful these days. I recently bought an aux tranny for my HG from Jim Brown. He was sooo worried that I would not complete (as I am from the UK). Bottom line is that my word is my bond, and he got his money and now my bits are on their way - should get here by Christmas if I am lucky. Apparently other buyers were trying to get my stuff by slating an overseas sale. Glad Jim had the confidence to wait for my money. I am now, of course, trusting that Jim is also an honest guy and keeps his side of the bargain, as I am sure he will - or I wouldn"t have sent him my hard earned cash! All a deal needs is trust on both sides and it is a shame it"s not always there. You were right to be suspicious of this deal. We had machinery scam internal to the UK, where someone in the nick was buying machinery, having it collected and never having any intention of paying. Regards, RAB Regards, RAB
