If you have that backhoe just use it to hang the mower on instead of the bucket, it would swing of to the side enough to do that and also extend out far enough to reach without getting to close, might want to put a dual on that side to help the counterbalance that the foot would not be able to do as you drive but you could parke and swing the mower the same as you would the bucket
