I think that you're right. I've posted twice in "Off Topic" because that's where they belonged, and were political. And the other night, I posted about "Eminent Domain", and looked for "Off Topic" to post it in, but am not seeing it anymore - I considered looking at "Kountry Life", and posting "Eminent Domain" there, but after giving it some thought, figured since it often involves farms or loss of farms, and decided to post it under tractor talk. I did post a question about my Deere on tractor talk some time back. Those have been my four posts. Here's something I noticed the other night, and the new format sparked it. I went and looked at another site, and the format there is/was very similar to the proposed format. But what caught my eye was a post about a Deere 1010 leaking near the 3 point, asking questions as to what it might be. I'd noticed that same person posting the same question here a few days earlier, and got answers about the 1010 not being one of Deere's better tractors. I guess that person went over there because he or she didn't get the answers that they wanted, and got specifics about what part of the 3 pt held the hydraulic oil, and what part was dry for the clutch, etc. It made me think. Perhaps we (me included) are spending too much time talking about things that don't pertain to tractor talk. But at times, they are fun, and at times they are not. You might be right Ben. And then again, sometimes all work and no play makes Jack a dull Mark (me). I can live with more tractor talk than Presidential debates. Hope I didn't ruffle anyone's feathers.

Like most features of our life, few things are all good or all bad, and most such judgments depend on our own perspective or viewpoint. In our particular hobby, we enjoy the nostalgic return to the days of our youth as we recreate many of the scenes that took place on the family farm that served as the stage for the first few acts of the play that is our live
