Hmmmmm, so you're gonna pull 17,500 on a hitch rated at 12,000? 5500 pounds overweight????? Know what the fine is for that much overweight? Does your driver's license allow you to pull that much weight? Hope you never have to scale, never get stopped by a cop that knows his/her stuff, and that your insurance company is clueless when you get into an accident. Not meaning to be abrasive here, but that is just plain goofy. Lots of things to think about here. I might try it on a grid road at 20mph, but not on a public highway!
