I am a small engine mech. the air cooled engines run about 750 all of you that said you use mobile 1 your right on the money normal oil starts to break down at about 525 and snth oil doesnt break down at all. as far as your problem goes its in the spark you either got a bad coil witch starts to short out when hot or points are to close together. hope you found your problem allready.m allso an electrician.
