This is one of those do as I say not as I do things. My garage ceiling looks just like yours. I ran out of money and wasn't going to do more until it started falling down.I'm not a big fan of drywall.
I was thinking about using steel sideing panels ?
I know a fellow that works at a vinyl sideing place and he used some kind of soffit or skirting panels. Looked really nice he did the walls and ceiling and also uses it for a paint room.
I just had a brain storm ! Go to a salvage yard and buy up all the farmall hoods flatten them out and nail them up there. It would look fantastic,matches your tractor ?
