Hi John, We had the opposite experience; Darned thing ran like a million bucks.....just wasn't horse enough nor had weight enough to do anything except pull a rotary hoe�kinda a wimpy little thing. She didn't last long.....went down the road in less than two years. We called it our "pregnant mosquito" tractor. :>) Allan
