They want Styrofoam-brained people that can be manipulated into thinking whatever the lawyers, defense or prosecution, want them to think. Therefore the jury thinks whatever way the most persuasive (and BS slinging)Lawyers gets them to think. If,during the pre-trial voir dire questioning you demonstrate that you have half a brain, one or the other attorneys will move to have you summarily excused (which is not a bad thing):-) The ideal juror is a housewife that has rotted her mind away on soap operas, or a drugged out dude with a vacuum between his ears. Sad but true.
