I fooled around at the tractor show yesterday and bought a hay press. I already had one that is in good shape and I had re-worked into near ready to bale condition. I don't need two, and the latest one I bought is a real honey, so this ones got to go. What I'm trying to determine is what I should ask for it. I hardly ever see one for sale. The press is a IHC pre '36 thats set up for either belt or stationary engine operation. Its on cutoff round spokes with 16" rubber. The horsehead had rotted away and all the hardware was lost. I have handmade a horsehead and all the hardware, except the hooks to stuff the block in. All this machine lacks is the hooks and a set of blocks and some hay and you got bales. Anyone have any idea what it should be worth?
