FIRST, and foremost, DO NOT RUSH into doing something you'll regret. Take some time to decide if you REALLY want to part with Dad's stuff. (Over a period of time, there's TONS of posts on these boards looking to FIND an old family tractor that was sold in a moment of haste.)

At the very least, hold off for a while to get several offers, and ideas of value.

Accept payment only in cash, or arrange to meet at your bank, and have a trusted bank official verify that the funds are in in your possession (or account) before the tractors leave your property, and give the buyer a bill of sale, complete with serial number.
