Baker fan's and belt work

I have recently bought an unstyled D. It's the second standard I have had and the first "big" John Deere. I bought a belt for it a few days ago at a show and now need something to run it on. Has anyone built a baker fan or could anyone give me dementions (pully size or blade size, ect) or do's and don'ts. I have watched alot of belt work at shows but would like to play around with it at home and hear the old D lugging. I haven't ever used a belt to drive anything. Any info would be appreciated.
