I have a 685.
The outboard shift lever has only 3 positions. To the left and back is reverse.
To the left and forward is lo forward.
To the right and forward is hi forward.
The inboard shift lever is an H, 1-2-3-4. It is not my favourite, kinda like shifting gears with a wet noodle.
