Belive it or not allen it's an old law still on the books in this state. assumed ownership law lets you claim property that still belongs to someone else. Just like I said I mowed these overgrown lots for 7 years owners never said anything or tried to let me know that it was there property. so after 7 years I can go to court house and assume I own it bacause I maintained it this long and owners never disputed me doing so. So I get a deed even thou they paid taxes all this time. They just forgot to remind me that I was on there property. some land grabbing scheme the gov thought of years ago.
