I've dealt in tractors enough I've saw all kinds of things. What I would do is stop at the Sheriff's office & tell them the whole story. show them the check & offer to have them make a copy. the response you would get here is "that's not our problem" or we don't handle that type of compliant. Just tell them you just wanted them to know your side if anything comes of it. Than just wait & see what happens Get a firm price on improvements you made to the tractor. Let both the lady & the guy that sold it to you know what it is & say refund MY money & pay the bill or I keep the tractor By the way 10 per day outside storage is legal in my state inside is more .It won't take to long they will think it's not worth it
