While I do not know the laws of your state I will say this.
If someone / anyone left their tractor sit in my barn for 50 years without once checking on it I would not even care if they thought they still owned said tractor. I would sell it and not think twice about it.
Tell the man you bought it from to tell this old lady that he wants 50 years of storage fees. I think that will get her to packing.
