Electronic ignition works fine till it goes bad then you have to buy another one :( Points on the other hand will require perodic maintenance, but are cheaper to replace. And if they cause problems in the field you can usually file adjust and get going again real soon vs having to buy another $70-100 electronic ignition module. after being shut down for a while.
Think I will go with Ron and stay with points.
